The Color of The Season
RED
As the Holiday season rolls around, there’s no doubt that red will be the color on everybody’s lips… and dresses. The sensuality and classiness of such a bold color tend to rest for most of the year until we enter the Christmas period with a new style. The palette's top begins to brighten up from our last shade of fall burgundy. Instead, it is replaced with a hopeful treat for the winter months ahead, becoming the go-to shade for every party and Gala on the agenda. Here at Club L, we’ve embraced the change with a range of silhouettes like sumptuously sleek maxis in figure-flattering velvets, dazzling minis with multifaceted sequins painted in the fiery hue, and even casual skater styles join the circle for a perfect capsule closet. However, which red is your red?
SHADE ONE
CHERRY RED

Much like our monochromatic moments, cherry red has become somewhat neutral this season – it’s everywhere! But it’s important to be able to identify the subtle differences of each shade. For instance, the cheekiness of this hue has been decorating the runway floors and is the typical color of passion we expect to see when we think of red. Due to its popularity, the shade is synonymous with being able to suit every skin color and style and is definitely the most wearable out of the collection for day-to-day outfits.
SHADE TWO
CHILL RED

Chilli reds have an intense excitement to them in comparison. They leave a trail of spice wherever they go, making a lasting impression on every social occasion. The tones come to life when sat next to a dark statement like black or complementary metallics like silver. If planning an outfit for your work’s Holiday party has been lingering in the back of your mind, then this fiery hue would be my first choice. She works best in small doses, like a flirty mini style paired with an elegantly sheer makeup look, leaving all the attention to settle on the dress.
SHADE THREE
CRIMSON RED
